Rana Igbariya Mahamid, she is a psychologist and psychotherapist with a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology with Honors and over 8 years of experience in the mental health field. Through her work in clinical settings and through online therapy, she has provided counselling and therapeutic support to children, adolescents, and young adults, as well as parents and families. She has supported individuals experiencing panic attacks, anxiety and stress, ADHD and attention difficulties, and a range of emotional and behavioral challenges. Rana Igbariya Mahamid also provides support and guidance to parents and caregivers of children with developmental challenges, including Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental conditions. She also supports individuals and families navigating immigration, living away from home, adjustment, and the challenges that can come with adapting to new environments and life changes. She believes that change begins with self-awareness—understanding what we are experiencing, how it affects us, and what we truly need. Her approach draws primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while adapting the therapeutic process to each person’s individual needs, circumstances, and goals. She also aims to create a safe, comfortable, and non-judgmental space where clients can speak openly, develop a deeper understanding of themselves, and gain practical tools to cope with emotions and life’s challenges with greater awareness and flexibility. She offers sessions both in clinical settings and online. read more
